How Do Magnets Work?
PAIN RELIEF is the most common use of magnets. Magnets may increase the capillary blood
flow which may help flush lactic acid and other inflammatory agents that build up tissue to ease pain and inflammation. The blood supply also carries oxygen which may be helpful in relaxing
muscles and relieving cramps and spasms which are oxygen starved.
This is the same reason massage is often used to loosen muscles in spasm; to allow blood to flow and deliver oxygen necessary to terminate the spasm.
Who Can Benefit From The Use Of Magnets?
People with chronic back pain have obtained significant relief from sleeping on magnetic mattresses and/or magnetic seat cushions. Tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome and other tendon or ligament problems may heal faster when wrapped in magnetic bandages or magnets are applied to the area. In some hospitals, powerful electromagnetics are used to speed healing of broken bones. Regular use of magnets may even help prevent asthma and relieve headaches. The benefits of magnetic therapy are often apparent within the first hour of treatment, sometimes three or four days of steady treatment are required.
Strength of Our Magnets
Our magnet products are the strongest on the market and are competitively priced. Most of our magnetic pads, wraps, etc. contain the powerful neodymium magnets which are 12,300 gauss in strength, unipole design. (Gauss is the unit used to measure the output of magnets). Be sure to check our price list for the number of magnets contained in each product.
Some of our products (such as the magnetic mattress pads, magnetic pillow pads, etc.) contain ceramic disk magnets. These magnets are Ferrite Ceramic Core with 3,950 gauss unipole design. Our new Super High Density mattress pads utilize the large, powerful ceramic domino mangets.
Our flexible magnetic shoe inserts are constructed with premium grade ferrite rubber material and have 2,550 gauss multi-pole design. |
